Vernon L. Smith, Ph.D., George L. Argyros Endowed Chair in Finance and Economics and 2002 Nobel Laureate in Economics is one of three Nobel-winning economists invited by
Newsweek Magazine
to comment on America’s financial crisis, what went wrong and what can be done to repair it. Professor Smith points a finger at the stimulus policies of the Bush and Obama administrations.  

“The costs have far exceeded the benefits. And ordinary Americans have grown suspicious of economic experts—as well they should be,” Professor Smith writes.
