Several students from the art class
Intersection of Art and Science
will have their artwork included in the displays at the annual
JPL Open House
Saturday and Sunday, June 10-11 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The works are the final projects created in Professor Lia Halloran’s unique course, which includes field studies at NASA’s JPL Labs and extensive training with the 3D animation software Maya. During the semester students were challenged to imagine, research and design a spacecraft with a specific task.

Check out some of their latest work at their blog,
Intersection of Art and Science Spring 2012
and read more about the class in a previous
Happenings
post.
