Ticket reservations for April’s ‘Conversations with Elie Wiesel’ available soon

Free ticket reservations for April’s “Conversations with Elie Wiesel” events will be available beginning Monday, March 11. To reserve seating for any of the four conversations scheduled for Monday, April 15, through Thursday, April 18, in the Wallace All Faiths Chapel, visit the online ticketing website.

Wiesel, winner of the Nobel Peace Prize, bestselling author, Holocaust survivor and global leader in human rights advocacy – visits Chapman University each April as a Distinguished Presidential Fellow. While on campus, Wiesel joins Chapman faculty in a series of conversations exploring topics related to his life’s work. This year’s events include:

  • Writers Who have Shaped my Writing, Monday, April 15, 11 a.m. to noon with Tom Zoellner, associate professor, Department of English.
  • Words Can Change the World, Monday, April 15, 7 to 8 p.m. with Tom Campbell, Ph.D., dean of the School of Law, 7 to 8 p.m.
  • Genocide & the Obligation to Remember: Elie Wiesel and Richard Hovannisian, Ph.D., professor emeritus, UCLA, moderated by Jennifer Keene, Ph.D., professor, Department of History, Wednesday, April 17, 8 p.m.
  • Readers’ Theatre Presentation: The World Within the Words of Elie Wiesel, 8 to 9 p.m., moderated by Nina Lenoir, Ph.D., professor and chair of the Department of Theatre.

Admission is free, but tickets will be required. Each individual ticket grants access to only one event. You must reserve a separate ticket for each event you want to attend. For more info, contact WieselEvents@chapman.edu.
