Chapman ranked again by Kiplinger’s as one of nation’s best-value universities

Chapman University has again been listed in Kiplinger’s Personal Finance Magazine as one of the nation’s 100 best-value private universities. Chapman is at No. 84 among private universities selected from across the nation in the annual ranking.

This list is based on a variety of measurable standards, from student-faculty ratios to on-time graduation rates and financial aid, to arrive at the rankings that weigh both affordability and academic excellence. The list appears in the February 2017 issue of Kiplinger’s Personal Finance.

Recently, Chapman climbed to No. 6 in its category in the 2017 edition of “America’s Best Colleges” published by U.S. News & World Report.

Chapman was also recognized by U.S. News as one of only two universities in the Western region to be ranked as “Most Innovative.” In that ranking, college presidents, provosts and admissions deans were asked to nominate colleges or universities in their U.S. News Best Colleges ranking category that are making the most innovative improvements in terms of curriculum, faculty, students, campus life, technology or facilities.

In 2016, Chapman also received outstanding national rankings from the Princeton Review, Forbes and the Fiske Guide to Colleges.
