Chapman University wins national awards for fundraising success

Chapman University has received two national awards recognizing its fundraising success.

The Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) selected Chapman to receive two 2017 CASE Educational Fundraising Awards. In the category of Private Comprehensive Institutions with Endowments Over $72 million, Chapman received the Overall Performance Award and the Improvement Award.

Judges based their decision on an analysis of three years of fundraising data supplied to the Council for Aid to Education’s annual Voluntary Support of Education Survey (VSE).

The Educational Fundraising Awards program honors exemplary development operations at U.S. educational institutions, according to CASE.

“As raising private support becomes more critical for colleges, universities and independent schools, our 2017 honorees are setting the standard for fundraising excellence,” said Brian Flahaven, CASE’s senior director for advocacy.
