Were we not in a pandemic, we would be gathering to honor her and share our memories.<\/p>\n<p>A founding member of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.the1939society.org\/\">The &#8220;1939&#8221; Club<\/a> (now Society), Mila was the epitome of elegance and kindness. Having Mila and her daughter Marie there to celebrate the opening of the Archive in November 2016 is a memory we will always cherish.<\/p>\n<p>Her friendship to me and to Chapman University was a gift
