Out of an abundance of caution and in conjunction with the current Chapman University response to Coronavirus (COVID-19), the California’s Gold Exhibit and Huell Howser Archives are suspending and postponing any tours, scheduled visits, and walk-in visits for the immediate future. Our staff personnel will still be available (via email) for research and general information requests and our video archive is still functioning. We apologize for the inconvenience and will keep you updated as circumstances change.
The joy that the late TV legend Huell Howser shared with generations of Californians infuses a new permanent exhibit, sponsored by the Automobile Club of Southern California, housed in Chapman University’s Leatherby Libraries. The exhibit includes images, text, and artifacts, which outline Howser’s career and legacy in California.
