Join them as they reenact their 1940 concert of traditional Cornish Christmas carols, which took place 2,000 feet below ground in a gold mine, and was broadcast nationally on network radio. Huell travels below the Earth into a mine to discover what it was like for a Cornish miner to sing hymns for Christmas Day.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><em>Note: This episode was released across Public Broadcasting Service&#8217;s (PBS) affiliated stations in California, but not necessarily on the same day for each station.
