Part-time faculty may request a license by contacting the IS&amp;T Service Desk.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Note that students are not eligible for Copilot for Web but can access the full version of Copilot for Web, minus the data protection, by using a free personal Microsoft account.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">What is the difference between ChatGPT and Copilot for Web?<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">ChatGPT was created by a company called OpenAI. Microsoft is a primary investor with an exclusive license to run the ChatGPT technology on their systems. Both run on Microsoft servers under the hood.
