Chapman University Dale E. Fowler School of Law competition teams <\/a>claimed four titles last weekend at the International Law School Mediation Tournament in Chicago. Team members Jade McKenzie (JD \u201916), Jeremy Talcott (JD \u201916), Shane Micheil (JD \u201916), Kyle Hindin (JD \u201916), Weston O\u2019Connor (JD \u201917) and Markeshia Moore (JD \u201917) competed against 52 teams from more than 30 law schools in\u00a012 countries.<\/p>\n

Shane Micheil (JD ’16), Jade McKenzie (JD ’16) and Jeremy Talcott (JD ’16)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

McKenzie, Talcott and Micheil earned several honors including second overall in the advocate\/client competition and seventh overall in the mediator competition. Micheil earned a third-place individual mediator award, and he and Talcott also earned a fifth-place individual advocate\/client award.<\/p>\n

Despite narrowly missing a win\u00a0in\u00a0a raw point score comparison after a tie in the final round, Fowler School of Law won all judges’ ballots through three preliminary rounds as well as the semifinal and final rounds.<\/p>\n
