If the Justices, as expected, uphold both Prop. 8 and gay marriages performed in California before Nov. 4, \u201cthere&#8217;s no argument to be made,\u201d Professor Darmer said. \u201cThat would rule out Connecticut, which began performing gay marriages Nov. 12.
