The U.S. News & World Report has published its rankings of the best law schools in the country, with Chapman University\u2019s Fowler School of Law continuing its upward trajectory and leaping 9 places to clinch 109th<\/sup> place.<\/p>\n

The U.S. News & World Report rankings are based on a variety of performance factors for each of the competing schools, including the LSAT scores of admitted students, the opinion of other law schools, how lawyers and judges view the quality of the educational program, and the successful placement of graduates in the legal workforce.<\/p>\n

One of Chapman University\u2019s stated long-term goals, according to a new five-year strategic plan<\/a>, is to see the Fowler School of Law earn a Top 70 ranking, in line with the University\u2019s own rise in national rankings, with its renewed focus on measures of academic achievement, as well as graduation\/retention rates and financial resources.<\/p>\n

Interim dean Marisa Cianciarulo commented on the school\u2019s progress in the 2023 rankings: \u201cThe Fowler School of Law\u2019s impressive nine-spot leap in the U.S. News & World Report ranking speaks not only to several years of tremendous strides in employment outcomes and bar pass, but to the ever-present and passionate commitment to our No. 1 priority: our students\u2019 success.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
