Sills Passed"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.chapman.edu\/law\/about\/davidsills.asp\">Presiding Justice David G. Sills<\/a> of California\u2019s Fourth District Court of Appeal died on August 23 at the age of 73. Justice Sills was a longstanding member of the Dean\u2019s Council and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.chapman.edu\/law\/AboutBOV.asp\">Board of Visitors<\/a> at Chapman University School of Law. \u201cJustice Sills was a great friend of the law school at Chapman,\u201d said law school Dean Tom Campbell. \u201cHe served on the Board of Visitors for many years and helped us immensely with our trial practice courses. The Chapman Law community grieves with Justice Sills\u2019 family over his loss.\u201d In lieu of flowers, Justice Sills&#8217; family has asked that <a href=\"http:\/\/www.chapman.edu\/law\/giving\/\">donations <\/a>in his memory be made to the Chapman University School of Law. Donations will be used to establish the <strong>Justice David G. Sills Scholarship Fund<\/strong> that will benefit all Chapman law school students.
