The firm\u2019s annual sponsorship of Chapman\u2019s Economic Forecast provides a valuable service to the Orange County business community.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis generous donation has enabled faculty to equip students with skills and training that are cornerstones to success, both in law school and in practice,\u201d said dean Tom Campbell. The firm\u2019s continued support for the <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.chapman.edu\/law\/2012\/07\/30\/two-chapman-law-students-win-the-golden-quill-award\/\" target=\"_blank\">Rutan &amp; Tucker Golden Quill<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.chapman.edu\/law\/2012\/04\/17\/congratulations-to-golden-gavel-winners-cayton-pflueger-cavallaro\/\" target=\"_blank\">Golden Gavel awards<\/a> has enabled law faculty to help students become more practice ready by equipping them with the skills and training that are fundamental to success. These awards are given to the best performing students in the first year class competition in moot court. All first year students compete. The Golden Quill award is given to the best brief writer; the Golden Gavel to the best oral advocate.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are pleased to support a program that will assist in the development of skills for the next generation of lawyers,\u201d said Kim Thompson, managing partner at Rutan &amp;
