The workshop, \u201c<a href=\"http:\/\/www.hollywood2go.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Hollywood2go<\/a>\u201d, has been compared to \u201cearning a one-day MBA in film\u201d and has been presented to Sony Pictures and the Microsoft Corporation. Robert Rubin and Jeffrey Korchek, both 20-year entertainment veterans who have been involved in scores of films as senior executives at major studios, will be leading the workshop. Mr. Korchek has served as a senior executive at USA Entertainment, a literary agent, and senior executive in charge of business and legal affairs at Universal Pictures and Mr. Rubin is cited by the New York Times and Wall Street Journal as an authority on investing in motion pictures.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis workshop is truly a one-of-a-kind experience,\u201d said Professor <a href=\"http:\/\/www.chapman.edu\/our-faculty\/judd-funk\" target=\"_blank\">Judd Funk<\/a> who teaches entertainment law classes at Chapman.  \u201cThe entertainment industry is incredibly dynamic and always changing. The presenters give a unique insider\u2019s look into what\u2019s been happening and where the industry is headed,\u201d he added. <\/p>\n<p>Participants will also come away with a free thumbdrive full of information that will help kickstart their career in the entertainment industry.<br \/>\n<span><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.chapman.edu\/law\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/71\/2013\/04\/moviereel-150x150.png\" alt=\"moviereel\" width=\"100\" height=\"100\" class=\"alignright size-thumbnail wp-image-5422\" \/><\/span><br \/>\nHollywood2go will be held in the Folino Theatre in Dodge College on Saturday, April 13 starting at 9:00 am.
