{"id":5830,"date":"2013-06-13T14:00:23","date_gmt":"2013-06-13T21:00:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogschapman.wpenginepowered.com\/law\/2013\/06\/13\/february-2013-bar-passers-sworn-in-on-june-3\/"},"modified":"2013-06-13T14:00:23","modified_gmt":"2013-06-13T21:00:23","slug":"february-2013-bar-passers-sworn-in-on-june-3","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.chapman.edu\/law\/2013\/06\/13\/february-2013-bar-passers-sworn-in-on-june-3\/","title":{"rendered":"February 2013 Bar Passers Sworn in on June 3"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On Monday, June 3, Chapman Law\u2019s February 2013 Bar Exam passers gathered in Kennedy Hall to celebrate their accomplishment at the official swearing-in ceremony. <\/p>\n<p>Chapman\u2019s most recent Bar pass rate continues to beat the national average even though the February Bar Exam is typically taken by fewer people. \u201c70% of our first time takers who participated in our supplemental program in February passed, exceeding the CA ABA average by 10 percentage points,\u201d mentioned Professor Mario Mainero who heads the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.chapman.edu\/law\/student-resources\/bar-preparation\/index.aspx\" target=\"_blank\">Bar prep program<\/a>. In December, <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.chapman.edu\/law\/2012\/12\/07\/class-of-2012-celebrates-highest-bar-passage-rate-in-chapman-law-school-history\/\" title=\"Class of 2012 Celebrates Highest Bar Passage Rate in Chapman Law School History\" target=\"_blank\">Chapman\u2019s Bar passage rate was 82%<\/a>\u2013a record breaker for the school. <\/p>\n<p>The ceremony was attended by Orange County Superior Court Judge Wendy Lindley, who administered the state oath and opening remarks. The <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.chapman.edu\/law\/2012\/12\/12\/chapman-law-alumni-are-quickly-taking-over-bankruptcy-court\/\" target=\"_blank\">Honorable Theodor C.
