Ignore discovery requests.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u2022<strong> Tom Pokladowski (\u201906)<\/strong> of UC Irvine Extension was recently appointed to National Association of Legal Assistants Certifying Board For Paralegals. Tom will serve two-years on the board and help maintain the integrity of the credentialing program. He along with other board members will be responsible for all aspects of the certification program including statistical analyses, policy making, disciplinary procedures, and examination content.<\/p>\n<p><strong> \u2022 Bobbie K. Ross (&#8217;09)<\/strong> closed her law practice (Law Office of Bobbie K. Ross in Manhattan Beach) and relocated to Sacramento where she will now be working as a Litigation Attorney for Howard Jarvis Taxpayers Association.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022<strong> Natasha Buchanan (\u201909)<\/strong> was quoted in USA Today. Atticus concluded his research in an area of law that has recently garnered much national attention\u2013cyberbullying. In addition to representing those injured due to the fault of others, Atticus took interest and began delving into the issue of the criminalization of cyberbullying on the state and national levels. It also addresses the invasion of technology in our lives and its effect on the bullying.\u201d Atticus\u2019s article titled \u201cCyberbullying and California\u2019s Response\u201d can be found in the Spring 2013 issue of the University of San Francisco Law Review 47 U.S.F. L.Rev. 737 (2013).<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u2022 Ryan Hurley (\u201910)<\/strong> recently featured in an article on sustainability. Ryan is a specialist in wind and solar technologies for the State of Hawai\u2018i Department of Business, Economic Development and Tourism.<\/p>\n<p><strong> \u2022 Jewels Jin (\u201911)<\/strong> mentioned in Daily Journal article regarding her participation in in Legal Aid\u2019s Lawyer Entrepreneur Assistance Program (LEAP), which is a solo incubator program.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Are you an alumni?
