Fowler School of Law students Ray Gennawey (JD \u201814) and Steven Cometa (JD \u201814) were in Washington, DC the week of April 7, 2014 with the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.americanbar.org\/aba.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">American Bar Association (ABA)<\/a>. Cometa is the <a href=\"http:\/\/lawstudents.abaleaders.org\/steven-david-cometa\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Vice Chair of the ABA Law Student Division <\/a>and Gennawey is a Division Delegate of the ABA Law Student Division. They met with legislators to advocate an increase of federal funding for legal aid and oppose specific tax proposals that are harmful to law firms. The shirts were a surprise from the students for Professor McConville in her spring 2014 Federal Courts class.
