Fowler School of Law team of Jonathan Cayton<br \/>\n<strong>(JD &#x2019;14)<\/strong><br \/>\n, Jaryn Saritzky<br \/>\n<strong>(JD &#x2019;14)<\/strong><br \/>\n&#xA0;and Dallis Warshaw<br \/>\n<strong>(JD &#x2019;14)<\/strong><br \/>\n traveled to Chicago for the national finals of the American Bar Association National Appellate Advocacy Competition. The team<br \/>\n<a title=\"Fowler Law Students Advance to National Appellate Advocacy Competition Finals\" href=\"https:\/\/blogs.chapman.edu\/law\/2014\/03\/11\/fowler-law-students-advance-to-national-appellate-advocacy-competition-finals\/\" target=\"_blank\">advanced from the regional round at the end of February<\/a><br \/>\n.&#xD;<br \/>\n&#xD;<br \/>\nThey achieved our best result ever at this competition, the largest one in the country with over 200 teams at the regional level. Our team made the semifinal round, where they lost a split decision to Georgetown, the eventual national champions.&#xD;<br \/>\n&#xD;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-7346\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.chapman.edu\/law\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/71\/2014\/04\/group-at-chicago-bean.jpg\" alt=\"group-at-chicago-bean\" width=\"580\" height=\"448\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blogs.chapman.edu\/law\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/71\/2014\/04\/group-at-chicago-bean.jpg 600w, https:\/\/blogs.chapman.edu\/law\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/71\/2014\/04\/group-at-chicago-bean-300x232.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 580px) 100vw, 580px\" \/><br \/>\n&#xD;<br \/>\n&#xD;<br \/>\nIn addition to the great achievement, Jonathan Cayton was recognized as the 4th best advocate in the preliminary rounds and the 4th best advocate overall.
