{"id":8995,"date":"2015-03-10T15:54:56","date_gmt":"2015-03-10T22:54:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogschapman.wpenginepowered.com\/law\/2015\/03\/10\/chapman-universitys-fowler-school-of-law-moves-up-in-new-u-s-news-rankings\/"},"modified":"2015-03-10T15:54:56","modified_gmt":"2015-03-10T22:54:56","slug":"chapman-universitys-fowler-school-of-law-moves-up-in-new-u-s-news-rankings","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.chapman.edu\/law\/2015\/03\/10\/chapman-universitys-fowler-school-of-law-moves-up-in-new-u-s-news-rankings\/","title":{"rendered":"Chapman University&#039;s Fowler School of Law moves up in new U.S. News Rankings"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>ORANGE, Calif. \u2013 The new <em>U.S. News &amp; World Report<\/em> ranking of national law schools has been released, and Chapman University\u2019s Fowler School of Law has moved up 13 positions to #127 in the \u201cTop Schools\u201d group, the highest tier of the national law school rankings.<\/p>\n<p>Fowler Law Dean Tom Campbell said of the school\u2019s rise:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cI could not be more pleased to see Chapman University&#8217;s Fowler School of Law making a solid move up the rankings; but I am not surprised. In a climate where students have been more selective in making the decision to pursue a career in law, we continue to attract top candidates with excellent credentials. Our renewed rise in the <em>U.S. News\u2019<\/em> Top Schools list can be attributed in large part to the strength of those students, along with our early adoption of a powerful practice-ready curricula and a world-class faculty that includes four former U.S. Supreme Court clerks and a Nobel laureate.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>The new ranking gives the Fowler School of Law, founded in 1995, yet another reason to celebrate as it marks its 20th anniversary this spring.
