Bogart served as Senior Contributing Editor in the most recent edition of\u00a0<em><a href=\"http:\/\/www.pli.edu\/Content\/Treatise\/Friedman_on_Leases\/_\/N-4lZ1z13i5v?ID=660\">Friedman on Leases<\/a>\u00a0<\/em>, published by the Practicing Law Institute.<br \/>\n<em>Friedman on Leases\u00a0<\/em>is the most widely used treatise on commercial lease law and practice. The three-volume set clarifies and analyzes the full range of lease provisions and conceivable landlord-tenant situations to provide an unsurpassed practical instruction on how to negotiate and draft airtight agreements that protect clients\u2019 rights and minimize liability exposure.<br \/>\n<em>Friedman on Leases\u00a0<\/em>includes numerous case decisions with commentary and valuable sample lease clauses and agreements.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.chapman.edu\/our-faculty\/daniel-bogart\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-9230\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-9230 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.chapman.edu\/law\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/71\/2015\/05\/Bogart_D.jpg\" alt=\"bogart_d\" width=\"110\" height=\"130\" \/><\/a><br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.chapman.edu\/our-faculty\/daniel-bogart\">Daniel B. Bogart<\/a>\u00a0holds the Bolinger Chair in Real Estate, Land Use and Environmental Law at the Fowler School of Law, and serves as the Director of the law school&#8217;s Center for Land Resources. In addition to his current role as Associate Dean for Academic Affairs, Professor Bogart previously served as the law school&#8217;s Associate Dean for Administration from 2010-2012. Professor Bogart&#8217;s scholarly, teaching, and national service interests emphasize real estate transactional practice.\u00a0 His articles have appeared in the<em>UCLA Law Review<\/em>, the\u00a0<em>American Bankruptcy Law Journal\u00a0<\/em>, and the\u00a0<em>Pittsburgh Law Review<\/em>, among others. He is also the author (with Jerry L.
