As we enter the final part of the Spring Semester, we are excited to bring you our newest display, exploring the field of Literary Copyright. This book display also honors <\/span>World Book and Copyright <\/span>Day<\/span><\/a>, which takes place annually <\/span>on April 23rd. <\/span><\/strong>This event brings together authors, publishers, and readers, highlighting the significance of intellectual property rights and copyright.<\/span><\/p>\n

Copyright laws ensure that authors get protection and recognition for their creative efforts. We have selected a collection of books from the Doy and Dee Henley Library of Social Sciences to provide resources about copyright and more!<\/span><\/p>\n

One of the featured selections is <\/span>Compact Copyright: Quick Answers to Common Questions <\/span><\/a><\/em>by Sara R. Benson.<\/span> This practical guide provides clear and concise answers to commonly asked questions about copyright law. It is an excellent resource for those seeking an introduction to basic copyright principles.<\/span><\/p>\n

Modernism and Copyright<\/span><\/a>\u00a0<\/span><\/em>by Paul K. Saint-Amour explores the complex relationship between literary modernism and copyright law. This book explores how many modernist authors directly influenced and transformed literary copyright law in ways that are still impactful to this day. <\/span><\/p>\n
