This agreement allows Chapman-affiliated authors to publish their articles <\/span><a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/libguides.chapman.edu\/open_access\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Open Access<\/span><\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> in Sage\u2019s journals at no or reduced cost to themselves for articles accepted between January 2026 and December 2028.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">This agreement fully covers the Article Processing Charges (APCs) (i.e., Open Access publication fees) for Chapman authors who have had their research articles accepted for publication in Sage\u2019s hybrid journals. It also provides a discounted APC for Chapman authors publishing in one of Sage\u2019s fully OA (gold) journals.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">To be eligible, articles must:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Be accepted for publication in any of <\/span><a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/spreadsheets\/d\/1r7DUq1NaaJhh7qNGDyPd3z5ExJDx6kDV_giUEyctvSI\/edit?gid=731066492#gid=731066492\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Sage\u2019s 1,200+ hybrid journals or 200+ Gold (i.e., fully OA) journals<\/span><\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> during the term of the agreement.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Have a corresponding author whose primary affiliation is with Chapman University (i.e., researcher, professor, adjunct faculty member, lecturer, graduate or undergraduate student).<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">To learn more about how to publish your article open access in a Sage publication, please see our guide on <\/span><a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/libguides.chapman.edu\/free_OA_publishing\/sage\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Free Open Access Publishing Opportunities for Chapman Authors<\/span><\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">.
