\"huell-howser-archive\"<\/p>\n

Located in the lower level of the Leatherby Libraries, the\u00a0California\u2019s Gold\u00a0<\/em>exhibit<\/a> <\/strong>celebrates the life and career of Huell Howser. The joy that the late TV legend Huell Howser shared with generations of Californians infuses a permanent exhibit sponsored by the Automobile Club of Southern California and housed in Chapman University\u2019s Leatherby Libraries. The exhibit includes images, texts, and artifacts that depict Howser\u2019s career and legacy in California. The exhibit is free and open to the public\u00a0Tuesday – Saturday, 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"cawl-room\"<\/a>The Center for American War Letters<\/a> (CAWL)<\/strong> is a unique and extensive manuscript collection of previously unpublished war letters from every American conflict, beginning with handwritten missives composed during the Revolutionary War and continuing up to emails sent from Iraq and Afghanistan. The archives reading room features banners and displays of selected letters and artifacts from the CAWL collection. The exhibit is free and open to the public\u00a0Tuesday – Saturday, 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.<\/strong> and located in the lower level of the Leatherby Libraries.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>The\u00a0Frank Mt. Pleasant Library of Special Collections & Archives<\/strong><\/a> is the principle repository for the preservation and access of the Leatherby Libraries\u2019 rare and unique collections. Located on the fourth floor of Leatherby Libraries, Special Collections holds rare books, manuscripts, maps and collections of enduring value while the Archives preserves the history of the university and the Chapman family. The Library is free and open to the public Monday – Friday from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. and will be open to the public from 12:30 – 4pm on Saturday, October 7<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Also located on the fourth floor of the Leatherby Libraries, the\u00a0Sala and Aron Samueli Holocaust Memorial Library<\/strong><\/a> houses permanent and rotating exhibits that tell of the individual lives affected, and all too often ended, by the Holocaust. The library’s non-circulating collection includes photographs, documents, oral histories and books, as well as reference works to support research on the Holocaust in its historical context.\u00a0The Library is free and open to the public Monday – Friday from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. and will be open to the public from 12:30 – 4pm on Saturday, October 7<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
