Pleasant Collections on Display at the Edward"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Located in Cherry Valley, the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.edward-deanmuseum.org\/\u00a0\u00a0\">Edward-Dean Museum <\/a>has recently released a new exhibit focusing on children&#8217;s literature. Running through October 29th, the exhibition,\u00a0 &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.pe.com\/articles\/museum-812408-books-library.html\">Once Upon a Time &#8211; A Tale of Children&#8217;s Literature<\/a>&#8220;, hopes to educate the community on the importance of early reading and the overall <a href=\"http:\/\/www.pe.com\/articles\/museum-812408-books-library.html\">evolution of children&#8217;s literature<\/a>. We are very excited to see that a selection of these books are loans from our very own <a href=\"http:\/\/digitalcommons.chapman.edu\/specialcollections\/\">Frank Mt. Pleasant Library of Special Collections and Archives.\u00a0 <\/a><\/p>\n<p>Always encouraging to collaboration between libraries and cultural institutions, the Leatherby Libraries is proud to see some of its Special Collections and rare materials on display in other areas.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/chapman.libguides.com\/profile.php?uid=7655\">Rand Boyd<\/a>, Coordinator of Special Collections &amp; Archives, and <a href=\"http:\/\/chapman.libguides.com\/profile.php?uid=5050\">Brett Fisher<\/a>, Chair of the Library Systems &amp; Technology Division, recently made the trip to Cherry Valley to check out the exhibition and view the displayed loaned materials.
