The exhibit begins on February 19, 2015, and will continue throughout the month of March.&#xD;<br \/>\n&#xD;<br \/>\nFor the past several years, botanical artists from around Southern California have gathered to exhibit their drawings and paintings of plants in the Leatherby Libraries. This year&#8217;s exhibit explores legumes &#8211; plants such as peanuts, beans, or lentils &#8211; in all their forms.&#xA0;The exhibit is held in conjunction with Dr. Jennifer Funk and students from the<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.chapman.edu\/scst\/undergraduate\/bs-biological-sciences.aspx\"><span class=\"s1\">biological sciences program<\/span><\/a><br \/>\n at Chapman University.&#xD;<br \/>\n&#xD;<br \/>\nTo celebrate the opening of the exhibit, the library is hosting an&#xA0;Artists&#8217; Reception and Demonstration on&#xA0;<br \/>\n<strong>Wednesday, February 25, at 5:30 p.m. in the Doy and Dee Henley Reading Room&#xA0;<\/strong><br \/>\n(Leatherby Libraries, second floor). &#xA0;The reception is free and open to the public. Guild members are committed to improving their artistry and technical abilities.
