This semester&#8217;s research fair, held in Sandhu Conference Center on Wednesday, December 6th, featured a wide range of research subjects, from art and music to biological science and software engineering.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.chapman.edu\/library\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/67\/2017\/12\/IMG_0524.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-2836 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.chapman.edu\/library\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/67\/2017\/12\/IMG_0524.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"580\" height=\"326\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>This year&#8217;s keynote speaker was <a href=\"https:\/\/www.poetryfoundation.org\/poets\/carolyn-forche\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Carolyn Forch\u00e9<\/a>, the award-winning poet of\u00a0<em>Witness<\/em>, human rights advocate, Chapman University Presidential Fellow, and Director of Center for Poetics and Social Practice at Georgetown University.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_2837\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-2837\" style=\"width: 580px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.chapman.edu\/library\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/67\/2017\/12\/IMG_0528.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-2837 size-medium\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.chapman.edu\/library\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/67\/2017\/12\/IMG_0528.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"580\" height=\"326\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-2837\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Darliene Zepeda-Field, a student in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.chapman.edu\/education\/about\/index.aspx\">Donna Ford Attallah College of Educational Studies<\/a>, with her poster at Student Research Day.
