The Bard on Campus<\/em> is a new display in the Frank Mt. Pleasant Library of Special Collections and Archives<\/a> that commemorates the long history of Shakespeare on the Chapman University campus. On display are photographs and programs highlighting the work of Henry Kemp-Blair, who started the Henry Kemp-Blair Shakespeare Festival<\/a> in the 1960s and Tom Bradac\u2019s Shakespeare Orange County<\/a>. A particular highlight of the display are two original leaves from the 1632 Shakespeare Second Folio on loan from Professor Tom Bradac.<\/p>\n

This display has been curated in celebration of the Othello performances at Chapman University taking place from February 16 to March 3, 2018. For performance dates and times, and to purchase tickets, please visit the College of Performing Arts’ calendar<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Save the date for a joint lecture on Shakespeare by Professors Tom Bradac<\/a> and Kent Lehnhof<\/a> on Thursday, February 22 at 11:30 a.m. in the Center for American War Letters<\/a> at the Leatherby Libraries<\/a>. More information will be announced shortly.<\/p>\n
