The Leatherby Libraries have expanded their holdings in the health and physical sciences through two new resources: AccessEmergencyMedicine and the American Physical Society journals.<\/p>\n

AccessEmergencyMedicine<\/h3>\n

AccessEmergencyMedicine is a comprehensive online resource that provides quick diagnosis and treatment answers for complaints ranging from neurologic emergencies to poisonings to various kinds of traumas. It includes emergency medicine textbooks, procedural videos, an integrated drug database, patient education materials, and tools for self-assessment to help students prepare for exams. It’s also mobile-optimized, making it easy to view on a phone or tablet.<\/p>\n

American Physical Society journals<\/h3>\n

We have upgraded our American Physical Society license to include the full run of APS journals, meaning the entire series of Physical Review journals, as well as several other titles, is now available to our faculty, staff, and students for the first time. These highly-ranked, peer-reviewed journals bring us access to some of the most important and impactful research across the entire field of physics.<\/p>\n

To access the American Physical Society journals, search the Journal A-Z list on the Leatherby Libraries’ webpage (http:\/\/www1.chapman.edu\/library\/) for a specific journal title, or click the “Advanced Search” link under the Journal A-Z list and search for “American Physical Society” in the Publisher tab. The full list of American Physical Society titles is available here<\/a>.<\/p>\n
