Pleasant Library of Special Collections and Archives<\/a>\u00a0of the\u00a0Leatherby\u00a0Libraries invites contributions to\u00a0<strong>The Quarantine Diaries: A Chapman University Archiving Project<\/strong>. The project aims to capture the experiences of the university community during the\u00a0COVID-19\u00a0stay-at-home orders and the unrest our nation has faced during these historic times. Saving the memories of this paramount experience that humanity has faced during this pandemic will give future researchers valuable insights into our university life.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Who is\u00a0eligible to donate?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Chapman University community members (in Orange County and beyond) eligible to donate to the archives include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Students\/Student organizations\/Alumni<\/li>\n<li>Staff\/Retired Staff<\/li>\n<li>Administrators\/Retired Administrators<\/li>\n<li>Faculty\/Retired Faculty<\/li>\n<li>Affiliates (ie., Chapman University Board of Trustees\/Governors, Town &amp; Gown, monetary\u00a0donors, archival collection donors, parent volunteers, community volunteers and collaborators)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>What can I donate?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Examples of personal\u00a0and professional content donated to the archives can take almost any form, if it represents a person\u2019s experiences of the quarantine and can be submitted electronically.<\/p>\n<p>Contributions include but are not limited to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Writings<\/li>\n<li>Journal entries<\/li>\n<li>Stories<\/li>\n<li>Poetry<\/li>\n<li>Artwork<\/li>\n<li>Personal essays<\/li>\n<li>Research essays<\/li>\n<li>Research projects<\/li>\n<li>Voice recordings<\/li>\n<li>Social media posts<\/li>\n<li>Photos<\/li>\n<li>Videos<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>How do I donate?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>For more information, please go to the <a href=\"https:\/\/chapman.libguides.com\/donations\/quarantinediaries\">guide<\/a>\u00a0for the Quarantine Diaries project.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Thank you for supporting the preservation of historical collections connected to the University\u2019s past and present, and our programs of research.
