In <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.chapman.edu\/library\/2019\/08\/29\/welcome-to-the-new-school-year-panthers\/\">other years<\/a>, the Leatherby Libraries has participated in Orientation through leading students on group tours of the library, tabling at student resource fairs, and taking part in orientation panels. This year, as orientation becomes remote, the Leatherby Libraries is proud to take part in new ways.<\/p>\n<p>In lieu of tours of the Leatherby Libraries, a committee of librarians and staff have created this video, a virtual introduction to the services and spaces that the Leatherby Libraries has to offer.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">\n<p>Just as in previous years, the Leatherby Libraries will be represented on one of the panels during Orientation by librarian Essraa Nawar; only this time, the panel will be online! Essraa will be speaking for the Leatherby Libraries as part of the <em>Academic Life<\/em> panel session the morning of Friday, August 28th as part of First-Year and Transfer Family Orientation. Keep an eye out for her and her great information about how the Leatherby Libraries can help new Chapman University students succeed!<\/p>\n<p>Finally, we want to remind all Panthers, new and returning, that although the Leatherby Libraries are physically unavailable for the time being, we have a wealth of <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.chapman.edu\/library\/2020\/03\/18\/leatherby-libraries-remote-resources\/\">remote resources<\/a> available to help you get the most out of your time at Chapman.
