{"id":6169,"date":"2021-09-13T17:01:01","date_gmt":"2021-09-13T17:01:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogschapman.wpenginepowered.com\/library\/2021\/09\/13\/new-database-on-human-rights-and-justice-issues\/"},"modified":"2021-09-13T17:01:01","modified_gmt":"2021-09-13T17:01:01","slug":"new-database-on-human-rights-and-justice-issues","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.chapman.edu\/library\/2021\/09\/13\/new-database-on-human-rights-and-justice-issues\/","title":{"rendered":"New Database on Human Rights and Justice Issues"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Leatherby Libraries is pleased to announce that we now have access to a new, free database from <a href=\"https:\/\/chapman.libguides.com\/az.php?v=63949\">HeinOnline<\/a> that focus on human rights and justice issues: <a href=\"https:\/\/chapman.libguides.com\/open_society_justice_initiative\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Open Society Justice Initiative<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The Open Society Justice Initiative database provides access to briefing papers, publications, reports, handbooks, legal and policy submissions, and fact sheets by the Justice Initiative on issues of human rights and justice. Unique to this collection is the ability to search by Publication Type.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.chapman.edu\/law\/student-resources\/library\/index.aspx\">Hugh &amp; Hazel Darling Law Library<\/a> at the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.chapman.edu\/law\/index.aspx\">Dale E. Fowler School of Law<\/a> continues to provide Chapman users with a subscription to the larger <a href=\"https:\/\/chapman.libguides.com\/law_journal_library\">HeinOnline<\/a> legal database, which is also linked from the Leatherby Libraries\u2019 <a href=\"https:\/\/chapman.libguides.com\/az.php\">Database A-Z list<\/a>. HeinOnline contains more than 2,600 law and law-related journals, as well as information on cases, international law, and treaties.
