Bold colors, graphics, and textures make each one unique. These books depict the school\u2019s name changes from California Christian College (1918-1920, 1923-1934), to Chapman College (1934-1991), and finally to Chapman University (1991-present)\u2014as the campus moved from Los Angeles to Orange, CA in 1954. The yearbook\u2019s name is a play on the word &#8216;seer,&#8217; or biblical prophet, using the first letter of the school name, C, instead of S.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The display was created by Special Collections and Archives Assistant Victoria Perez. It is located on the library&#8217;s fourth floor and will remain up through the end of the 2022 Spring semester.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.chapman.edu\/library\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/67\/2022\/03\/CEER-Display-Edited.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-6580 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.chapman.edu\/library\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/67\/2022\/03\/CEER-Display-Edited.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"580\" height=\"914\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>* <em>This particular collection of yearbooks is not available for checkout.
