This agreement allows Chapman-affiliated authors to publish their articles\u00a0<\/span><a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/blogs.chapman.edu\/library\/2019\/10\/21\/leatherby-libraries-celebrates-open-access-week\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Open Access<\/span><\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u00a0in Elsevier\u2019s journals.<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><strong>This read-and-publish agreement covers the Article Processing Charges (APCs) (i.e., Open Access publication fees) for Chapman <span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">authors with accepted research articles<\/span> in applicable Elsevier journals during this three-year agreement from 2024-2027.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">To be eligible, articles must:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Be accepted for publication in any of Elsevier\u2019s\u00a0<\/span><a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/spreadsheets\/d\/1qH30REHI5XrkOPUpMPHk3uDqXbsOK0bS-_xbEjMdUOU\/edit#gid=2017945328\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">1806 hybrid journals<\/span><\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u00a0or\u00a0<\/span><a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/spreadsheets\/d\/1lzpnmr-joXv7aY1gc1RDsH20R3BmUuHBjHj8zs1iLG8\/edit#gid=65719749\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">685 fully\/gold OA journals<\/span><\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u00a0during the agreement term.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Have a submitting corresponding author affiliated with Chapman University (i.e., researcher, professor, adjunct faculty member, lecturer, graduate or undergraduate student).<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">This agreement will provide unlimited open access publishing in the eligible hybrid journals linked above and a capped number of articles in the fully\/gold OA journals.*<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<h3>Free Open Access Publishing Opportunities for Chapman Authors LibGuide<\/h3>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">To learn more about how to publish your article open access in an Elsevier publication, please see our guide on\u00a0<\/span><a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/libguides.chapman.edu\/free_OA_publishing\/elsevier\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Free Open Access Publishing Opportunities for Chapman Authors<\/span><\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">.
