H.A.P.P.Y. Night is April 13.

Come on out to D’Amore’s Pizza at 650 N. La Cienega in Los Angeles on Tuesday, April 13, 9 p.m. to 2 a.m., for a fund-raising evening to benefit H.A.P.P.Y. (Hands Across the Planet for Poor Youth), Chapman Public Safety Officer Michael Belay’s charity that is gathering funds to build a water purification system in Tembien, Ethiopia.

Michael says that in the time it takes to read this blog post, 47 children in the area will have sickened and died from water-borne illnesses.  So the need is great.  Come out and walk the red carpet, dance to tracks spun by DJ Caroline D’Amore and rub shoulders with surprise celebrities!

Caroline is very passionate about the cause that H.A.P.P.Y Inc is working towards and is therefore hosting an event to raise money for this worthy foundation and is doing so in style.  Headlined by Caroline herself, the lineup of performers is very exciting:

” DJ Havana Brown is Australia’s #1 DJ, known for her up-tempo R&B and hip hop sets, tinged with a touch of electro-house. Additionally, DJ Havana Brown’s skills have been requested by award-winning recording artists such as Britney Spears, Rihanna, The Pussycat Dolls and Chris Brown.  The line-up also includes the Holliwoodz,  a Miami-based dance, rock ‘n’ b group that are set to take the music world by storm with their unique sound.  Also on the bill: Egy, G-Live and Izaiah are ready to tear the roof off 650.

“Hands Across the Planet to Poor Youth, Inc. (H.A.P.P.Y.) is dedicated to ensuring a better quality of life for all disadvantaged children by providing them with a chance of healthcare, higher education, and purified drinking water. We are further commited to accomplish these specific tasks in regions of the world where war, hunger, drought, and poverty have claimed the quality of life for many people. H.A.P.P.Y., Inc. will develop strategies to advance the mission of making these areas self-sufficient.”
