Chapman will host "Ethics of War" Conference on April 28

The research conference “The Ethics of War and Just Peace” will be held on Wednesday April 28 in Argyros Forum 209 A and B. Supported by the Chancellor’s Office, the Dean of Wilkinson College of Humanities and Social Sciences, and the Departments of Religious Studies and Philosophy, this interdisciplinary conference will include participants from the United States, Canada, Sweden, Germany and Israel in the fields of ethics, religion, international law, international relations, political science, history and literature.   • This sounds like a don’t miss event! As a Christian, I’ve always been challenged by the question, when is it justified to go to war? I am familiar with my own church’s teaching on the topic and would like to see how it compares/contrasts to that of other faith traditions.
