memories-2012

This Friday, March 2, be ready to spread some of that trademark Chapman University friendliness as The Rodgers Center rolls out the welcome mat for hundreds of middle and high school students expected to arrive on campus at 9 a..m. for the center’s 13th Annual Holocaust Art and Writing Contest Awards Ceremony.

A record number of 125 schools from throughout California and beyond participated in this year’s contest, supported by a grant from the Samueli Foundation and a gift from Yossie and Dana Hollander. This year the contest received out-of-state entries, as well as an international submission from a school in Santiago, Chile.

The students will spend most of their day near Memorial Hall and the Bert Williams Mall, so be sure to say hello if you’re passing through. Learn more about the program on the contest’s
Facebook
page.
