Three work teams that convened this summer to conduct extensive fact-finding around the topic of the Chapman Experience will present their reports in two upcoming Presidential Forums. All campus community members are encouraged to attend.
The teams will present their findings and recommendations at the following times and locations:
- Oct. 1, Noon – 1:30 p.m., Beckman 404, Orange Campus
- Oct. 3, Noon – 1:30 p.m. Atrium, Rinker Campus
Teams included staff, faculty and administrators and were charged with finding opportunities to improve three areas: Employee Care and Recognition; Leadership; and Communication. Deans Janeen Hill, Andrew Lyon and Lisa Sparks provided leadership. Meeting frequently — as often as weekly throughout the summer — they conducted surveys, interviews and focus groups and hosted 14 town halls on both campuses with a total attendance of more than 650 staff, faculty and administrators.
