Announced on June 20, 2018
Chapman University’s Student Psychological Counseling Services (SPCS) offers after-hours support to any Chapman student in crisis or any person concerned about a Chapman student in crisis. To access that service, please call 714-997-6778
This extension of SPCS can assist a caller in any mental health crisis situation. Counselors can also assist callers in accessing SPCS or other campus resources. When appropriate, SPCS staff will follow up with the caller on the next business day.
The after-hours service is available weekends, evenings, holidays and any hour the office is closed. These new services augment the existing full spectrum of clinical services provided by SPCS and extend the center’s reach to more students at critical times when they may need the services.
For additional information about the service, please contact Dr. Jeanne Walker, director of Student Psychological Counseling Services, at firstname.lastname@example.org or 714-744-7078.
