Chapman University’s Rinker Campus in Irvine has been awarded a WaterStar Award from the Irvine Ranch Water District (IRWD). Chapman earned the designation for water-use efficiency throughout the campus. Among the measures were the conversion of indoor fixtures to low-flow technology and replacement of turf lawns with drought-tolerant plants and other weather-smart landscaping.
