href=\"https:\/\/www.chapman.edu\/our-faculty\/lawrence-brown\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Dr. Lawrence Brown<\/a> was awarded the UOP School of Pharmacy Alumnus of the Year Award and gave the Keynote address during the White Coat Ceremony.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\">\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">Through its 40 Under 40 awards program, the Greater Irvine Chamber recognizes the next generation of leaders and advocates who are making strides in their industries and the community in Orange County and beyond. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.chapman.edu\/our-faculty\/amy-kang\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Dr. Amy Kang<\/a> was chosen as one of the recipients for this 40 under 40 award, and she received her award on 9\/21 at a ceremony in Costa Mesa.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Presentations<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.chapman.edu\/our-faculty\/keykavous-parang\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Dr. Keykavous Parang<\/a> collaborated with others to present &#8220;Amphiphilic Membrane-Active Peptides: Broad-Spectrum Antibacterial Activity Alone and in Combination with Antibiotics and Structural Insights&#8221; at the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.way2drug.com\/dr\/bcadd2023\/program.php\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">XXIX Symposium Bioinformatics and Computer-Aided Drug Discovery<\/a> from September 18-20, 2023.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Publications:<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.chapman.edu\/our-faculty\/enrique-seoane\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Dr. Enrique Seoane-Vazquez<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.chapman.edu\/our-faculty\/lawrence-brown\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Dr. Lawrence Brown<\/a>, and others published &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov\/36653276\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Cost-effectiveness analysis of androgen deprivation therapy with relugolix for the treatment of advanced prostate cancer<\/a>&#8221; for the Journal of American Pharmacists Association.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.chapman.edu\/our-faculty\/cintia-citterio\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Dr. Cintia Citterio<\/a> participated in producing &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov\/37717261\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Structural Features of Thyroglobulin Linked to Protein Trafficking<\/a>&#8221; for The Protein Society on September 17, 2023.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.chapman.edu\/our-faculty\/aftab-ahmed\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Dr. Aftab Ahmed<\/a> collaborated with others to publish &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.eurekaselect.com\/article\/133325\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Structural and Functional Analysis of Urease Accessory Protein E from Vancomycin-resistance Staphylococcus aureus MU50 strain<\/a>&#8221; in Protein Peptide Letter on September 15,
