The PharmD cohorts have voted on the Teacher of the Year awards for the Fall 2023 through Summer 2024 academic year.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Class of 2025 Teacher of the Year<\/span>: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.chapman.edu\/our-faculty\/miao-zhang\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Miao Zhang<\/a>, PhD<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Class of 2026 Teacher of the Year<\/span>: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.chapman.edu\/our-faculty\/hamidreza-montazeri-aliabadi\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Hamid Montazeri<\/a>, PharmD, PhD<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.chapman.edu\/pharmacy\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/65\/2024\/09\/Zhang-Miao.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-1969 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.chapman.edu\/pharmacy\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/65\/2024\/09\/Zhang-Miao.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"72\" height=\"109\" \/><\/a>Dr. Zhang specializes in ion channels, structural biology, electrophysiology, drug discovery, and movement disorders. He has authored around 20 peer-reviewed publications in high-impact journals and is a member of several professional societies, including the Biophysical Society and the American Heart Association. Dr. Zhang instructs several PharmD courses, including <span data-teams=\"true\"><span class=\"ui-provider a b c d e f g h i j k l m n o p q r s t u v w x y z ab ac ae af ag ah ai aj ak\" dir=\"ltr\">Integrated Therapeutics: Nephrology\/Fluid &amp; Electrolytes\/Nutrition<\/span><\/span> (PHRM540).<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.chapman.edu\/pharmacy\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/65\/2024\/09\/montazeri-aliabadi-hamid.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-1970 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.chapman.edu\/pharmacy\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/65\/2024\/09\/montazeri-aliabadi-hamid.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"82\" height=\"100\" \/><\/a>Dr. Montazeri currently serves as the course coordinator for PharmD\u2019s Drug Delivery Systems (PHRM621) and serves as an instructor for several other courses, such as Clinical Pharmacy Review (PHRM584). He has been with CUSP since 2014 and has extensive experience in industrial pharmacy and academic research.
