Tien will coordinate caucuses, contribute to policy work through the body&#8217;s Resolutions Committee, and maintain connections with Region 8 members through digital media content. Tien will also have a strong hand in planning the Midyear Regional Meeting.<\/p>\n<p>Her term of service begins immediately and will continue through November 2025.<\/p>\n<p>Tien is already implementing new practices to bridge gaps in student knowledge and participation in APhA. &#8220;As Regional Delegate, I plan to increase student pharmacist involvement through implementing a monthly newsletter including an understandable breakdown of the various topics of discussion within Region 8 as well as a regular reminder of the policy process,&#8221; says Tien. &#8220;To gather a better understanding of the status of each chapter\u2019s involvement in policy and the areas of improvement, I plan to organize meetings with the President\u2019s and Policy Vice President\u2019s of the region 8 student chapters at the beginning and intermittently throughout my term.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Read more about Tien&#8217;s plan <a
