Mann School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences Alumni Excellence in Education Award during an awards ceremony on June 27<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">th<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, 2025.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><b>Dr. Sherry Yun Wang<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> has been named the recipient of the &#8220;2025 AI in Research Award \u2013 AI Researcher of the Year&#8221; by Women in AI (WAI), a global nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing inclusive and ethical artificial intelligence that benefits society worldwide.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><b>Grants<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><b>Dr. Kamaljit Kaur<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> and <\/span><b>Dr. Sun Yang<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> were awarded the CUSP Collaboration Award for their work as primary investigators on the study \u201cDeveloping peptide-drug conjugates for targeted drug delivery of chemotherapy for melanoma treatment.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Dr. Jerika Lam <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">was a sub-award recipient of the 2025-2026 Gilead Sciences NOVA RFP for her work \u201cAmplifying equitable access to oral and injectable pre-exposure prophylaxis through community pharmacies,\u201d an award in the amount of $62,356.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Dr. Keykavous Parand and Dr. Sun Yang <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">were awarded a grant in the amount o $415,500 for their work \u201cPeptide-Doxorubicin Conjugates for Mitigating Cardiotoxicity and Overcoming Drug Resistance in Cancer.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>Publications<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><b>Dr. Laressa Bethishou, Dr. Richard Beuttler, Dr. Reza Taheri, Dr. Madeline Dintzner M<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, and <\/span><b>Helen Sahli<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> published \u201c<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/doi.org\/10.1016\/j.cptl.2025.102419\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Development of an Intentional Approach to NAPLEX\u00ae Preparation\u201d in <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Currents in Pharmacy Teaching and Learning<\/span><\/i><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u201d 2025; 17(10): 102419.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Dr. Innokentiy Maslennikov, Dr. Keykavous Parang, Sandeep Lohan,<\/b> <b>Eman H.M.
