At the heart of the emphasis program lies the commitment to equip candidates with personal and professional skill sets, including confidence, empathy, and innovation, as well as skills in communication, collaboration, and ethical decision-making.<\/p>\n<p>The inaugural cohort was comprised of five outstanding students who were selected from a pool of applicants based on their academic performance and Chapman involvement. The five inaugural candidates, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/mariam-mekhael-35419021b\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Mariam<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/journey-cordero\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Journey<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/tali-faggiano-8b4517140\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Tali<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/rosale\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Rosa<\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/megan-shieh\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Megan<\/a>, held numerous leadership positions with student organizations and were collectively involved in 7 research projects.
