Chapman University School of Pharmacy has climbed to 74th in the latest U.S. News & World Report rankings, marking a six-spot improvement from the previous cycle and a remarkable rise from 99th in 2023.<\/p>\n
Our Pharm.D. graduates achieved a 93.7% first-time pass rate on the 2025 North American Pharmacist Licensure Examination (NAPLEX), outperforming both the California average of 86.7% and the national average of 86.8%. That performance placed us second in California and in the top 25 pharmacy programs in the country. Graduates who tested within 2 months of completing the program achieved a 100% pass rate, a testament to a curriculum designed to prepare students for immediate entry into professional practice.<\/p>\n
Our graduates also demonstrated strength across all content domains introduced in the redesigned 2025 NAPLEX, with 85.7% meeting or exceeding competency standards in Foundational Knowledge for Pharmacy Practice, compared to 80.7% nationally.<\/p>\n
We are equally proud to report an 82.2% match rate for PGY-1 ASHP-accredited residencies in Phase 1, which is the highest in California. Over the past five years, our graduates have consistently outperformed national averages on the NAPLEX, with 2025 being our strongest showing to date.<\/p>\n
