Dr. Goad will be honored at an awards ceremony taking place in May in Barcelona, Spain.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI am truly honored to have been included among this prestigious group of travel medicine professionals,\u201d said Dr. Goad, FAPhA, FCPhA, and FCSHP, professor and chair of the department of pharmacy practice at Chapman University\u2019s School of Pharmacy. \u201cThe more we can educate the public about the risks of international travel and how travel medicine healthcare professionals, like pharmacists, can minimize or eliminate those risks, the safer the traveling population will be,\u201d continued Dr. Goad.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cJeff Goad is another example of our outstanding faculty demonstrating leadership and an international level of notoriety for his work in\u00a0immunization and travel medicine\u00a0best practices,\u201d said <a href=\"https:\/\/www.chapman.edu\/our-faculty\/ronald-jordan\">Ron Jordan<\/a>, R.Ph. FAPhA, founding dean of Chapman\u2019s School of Pharmacy.\u00a0\u201cWe commend Jeff for his work that resulted in these accolades and know that they are well-deserved.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><a
