\"\"<\/a>Drs. Laressa Bethishou and Jelena Lewis will appear on the 2019 American Pharmacists Association \u00a0(APhA) Academy of Pharmacy Practice & Management (APhA-APPM) election slate for the 2019 APhA Elections for their respective Special Interest Groups (SIGs).<\/p>\n

The APhA\u2013APPM SIGs are member-driven groups focused on key areas of interest.\u00a0 Each faculty seeks election as SIG coordinator-elect.\u00a0 Bethishou seeks to represent the Transitions of Care SIG <\/strong>and Lewis seeks election in the Medical Home\/Accountable Care Organization SIG. <\/strong>\u00a0The APhA\u2013APPM SIGs are member-driven groups focused on key areas of interest.\u00a0 APhA members attending the\u00a02019 APhA Annual Meeting & Exposition<\/a><\/u> will have an opportunity to visit face-to-face with the candidates at a \u201cMeet the Candidates\u201d session in Seattle\u2019s Washington State Convention Center.\u00a0 APhA members will be able to vote to start on March 22, and the elections will close at noon on May 14. The 2019 APhA election results will be announced in June. Additional election and candidate information will be available online.<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>The APhA Academy of Pharmacy Practice and Management (APhA\u2013APPM) is dedicated to assisting members in enhancing the pharmacy profession, improving medication use, and advancing patient care.
