These models extend Einstein&#8217;s theory of <a title=\"General Relativity\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/General_relativity\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">General Relativity<\/a> by giving mass to the graviton, the particle which carries the gravitational force, and modify the gravitational field on large scales. Additionally, these models allow new types of black holes not present in ordinary Einstein gravity.
