Scientists with Chapman University\u2019s <a href=\"http:\/\/www1.chapman.edu\/ACFS\/CEEO\/\">Center of Excellence in Earth Observing<\/a> are collecting satellite data from its own sophisticated antenna facility to forecast wind patterns across the Pacific as the crisis changes, he said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThey\u2019re saying every day that it gets worse,\u201d Kafatos said. \u201cNow they\u2019re detecting what could be harmful levels of radiation as far away as Tokyo.
